I've been trying to write this post since I got home, and I don't think I can. I don't know how to express it in words.
As you know, Hunter S Thompson was found dead, from a self inflicted gunshot wound to the head, a year ago today.
I honestly don't think I've ever been affected as much by a celebrity death, as much as I Hunters. There was just something about him, that made him so enjoyable. His "no care" attitude about sensitive subjects. Nothing was taboo, if he wanted to rant about it, he would. There were very few things he was afraid of.
He had many enemies, but he made far more friends.
Hunter, you will be missed.

A rather interesting day today. First I'd like to give props to Kim Jong-il for his 64th birthday today. Happy Birthday Mr Jong-il
Apparently, Henry Rollins was reported to the terrorism hotline due to a book he was reading on a flight.
Also, the US is alarmed that the recent release of new Abu Ghraib photos will cause more violence against American soliders. He's not so worried about why it happened though.
Totally unrelated, but apparently people don't know how to read the Supanova website :/

Me: Good thanks...
CC: That's good. I'm just calling to let you know that we've got a fair few DareDevil comics here for you, and it would be greatful if you could come in and pick them up...
Me: Oh...ok, are you open Sundays?
CC: Yeah, 12 - 4
Me: Ok, I'll pick them up then.
CC: That would be appreciated.
So yeah...I gotta pick up my comic books...he seemed rather pissed I hadn't picked them up...maybe it's time to change to Comics 'R Us...
Funny thing is I was talking to my mate last night about comics, and how I hadn't picked them up in awhile...

I went to school with a Krystal (hence the K) but like, that was in 2004, and we didn't really talk. It kinda sounded like her, but it could have been anyone really...

Today sucked arse for sure.
Got to the station at 8:05, to catch then 8:12 train, only to find out that trains are delayed. No idea when they're going to start. 15 minutes later we were told they would start in 15 to 20 minutes. 30 minutes after that the train arrived.
Not only that, but it took me an hour to get into the city, when it normally takes 30 minutes. So I wasn't overly thrilled this morning.
So I get off, and check what time the trams coming. 10 minutes. So i start to walk into work, and get swooped by a fucking magpie. Fortunately it didn't do any damage, but it still hurt.
Gah, stupid sucky day. On the plus side, I have a humourous icon.
